Chinese New Year: Dragon Festival!

One day is definitely not gonna be enough! This week, it’s Kung Hei Fat Choy all the way, all week and weekend long! Midgard’s Royal Family has decided to celebrate the Chinese New Year this 2012, but they want the whole of Midgard to be part of the celebration. So join in the fun, from the 18th to the 22nd of January by completing the 5 daily quests (no skipping!) from the GMs. Read on below for the complete details. Eligibility: All Ragnarok Players

Duration: January 18, 2012 – January 24,2012 (ALL SERVERS)

• Part 1: January 18, 2012 (Event will run for 2.5 hours after the maintenance)
• Part 2: January 19, 2012 4-6:30PM
• Part 3: January 20, 2012 4-6:30PM
• Part 4: January 21, 2012 4-6:30PM
• Part 5: January 22, 2012 4-6:30PM
• Blue Card Trading: January 24, 2012 4-6:30PM

Mechanics:

• Complete all 5 part quests everyday starting January 18, 2012. (You can’t skip any of the dates or else you can’t get the event prize).
• Each part has different requirements to complete.
• At the end of each successful quest, the GM will Trade you any of the following Blue Cards: D,R,A,G,O and N.
• Keep the Blue Cards, once you have the WORD “DRAGON”, On January 24, 2012 go to Inside Castle of Dragon in Louyang (100, 156). Look for the GM with the Pub (Kung Hei Fat Choy!) and trade Blue Cards.
• After the event every day, there will be a monster summoning of dragon like monsters in Louyang map at 6:00PM – 6:30PM
  • Dancing Dragon
  • Dragon Egg
  • Dragon Tail
  • Mutant Dragon
  • Dragon Fly
• Players have a maximum of 2 trades per account.
• Any player caught disrupting the event will be suspended for 1 week or depending on the gravity of the offense.
• Screenshot your trade. GMs WILL NOT ask for your account password.

Part 1: The Dancing Dragon: Jan. 18, 2012 4-6:00PM

• GMs will summon Dancing dragon monsters in Louyang map (218,196)
• Kill the dancing dragons and collect the following items:
  • Dragon Scale x5
  • Dragon Horn x10
  • Yarn x10
  • Dragon Teeth x10
• After collecting, look for the GM in Louyang (337,261) and trade your items for Blue Card D and N.

Part 2: I need your mask: Jan. 19, 2012 4-6:00PM

• GMs will summon Rice Cake Boy monster in Louyang map (218,196) (this will be done at 4PM with limited number of monsters)
• Kill the rice cake boy and collect Festival Mask x20
• After collecting, look for the GM in Louyang (337,261) and trade your items for Blue Card R

Part 3: Bring in the luck: Jan 20, 2012 4-6:00PM

• Wear any RED headgear (upper)
• Go to Louyang (337,261) and look for the GM with Kung Hei Fat Choy Pub and the GM will give aBlue Card A

Part 4: Write me a letter: Jan 21, 2012 4-6:00PM

• GMs will summon The paper and Karakasa monsters in Louyang map (218,196) (this will be done at 4PM with limited number of monsters)
• Collect the following items:
  • Smooth Paper x20
  • Fright Paper Blade x5
• After collecting, look for the GM in Louyang (337,261) and trade your items for Blue Card G

Part 5 : Give me you’re Pet: Jan. 22, 2012 4-6:00PM

• Do the quest for a No Recipient item, and tame a Munak Pet.
• Go to Louyang (337,261) and trade the egg of the Tamed Munak Pet to the GM with Kung Hei Fat Choy Pub and the GM will give a Blue Card O

Trading Day:

• January 24, 2012 4-6:30PM, Go to Louyang Bridge above the castle gate entrance. (206, 27)
• Form a straight line and enter the GM’s Kung Hei Fat Choy pub.
• Trade all collected Blue Cards: D,R,A,G,O and N
• GMs will trade the event prize.

Prize:

• 1pc +8 “New Year 2012” Chinese Crown
• 25pcs Guyak Pudding
